DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE ATF - FIREARMS - CRIME GUNS Agent Wendell Roberts The training course is designed to provide the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to accurately identify firearms based upon markings and firearm characteristics. In addition, this course will teach property officers, records personnel and investigators everything they need to know to identify a firearm as a piece of evidence for court or to provide unique identifying information for a traceable weapon. Participants will have the opportunity to identify numerous firearms from technically accurate line drawings to test the development of their skills. |

The designation Child Welfare Law Specialist is awarded by the National Association off Counsel for Children to attorneys representing children, parents, agencies in child abuse, neglect, and dependency cases who have demonstrated an enhanced level of knowledge, skill, and experience in juvenile law. This presentation will provide information on how the public may access juvenile police records. The training will teach records personnel when an "entitled" person may access juvenile records directly from law enforcement agency and when the person must be directed to file a petition. |
