Fun Facts:
- Anita Barrett, Santa Ana PD, holds the record for most Presidential terms served in CLEARS history, with a record of four (4) years: 1988, 1999, 2000, 2003
- Wendy Phelps, LASO Lancaster, is now tied for 2nd place with three years of service as a President, tying the previous record established twenty years ago by Fred Prable (The very first CLEARS Southern Chapter President).
- Only two Presidents (*) did not serve their full second year term in office. (Definition of full term is serving the full year until the next sworn in ceremony).
- 2 men and 12 women have all been Southern Chapter Presidents. CLEARS has not had a man in the President role since 1987.
- For many years, Southern Chapter extended further then Los Angeles and Orange County and had included parts of the Inland Chapter
